Belimo Ball Valve Cv with Spring Return Actuator

The Belimo ball valve with spring return actuator line is a factory-assembled valve and actuator package for HVAC and building automation flow control. It is also called a motorized ball valve, a fail-safe control valve or a ball valve actuator assembly. Each unit pairs a Belimo ball valve with a rotary spring return actuator, so you don't have to match the valve and actuator yourself.

Key Features:

• Spring return fail-safe operation: If power is lost, the actuator drives the valve back to its default position. This helps protect heating, cooling and other water-based systems.
• Ball valve design: The ball valve provides tight close-off. Belimo describes its ball valves as self-cleaning, which helps prevent debris buildup.
• Two-way and three-way configurations: Belimo offers both. Two-way valves are used for flow control. Three-way valves are used for mixing, diverting or bypass applications.
• Characterized and standard ball valve options: The Belimo range includes characterized control valves (CCV). These combine ball valve close-off with a characterized disc that gives equal-percentage flow control at light loads.
• Control options: Depending on the model, actuators support on/off, floating point or modulating control. Some models also have auxiliary switches or MFT/programmable functions.
• Applications: These valves suit air handlers, heating and cooling coils, fan coil units, unit ventilators and VAV reheat coils.

Belimo is a well-known maker of actuators, valves and sensors for HVAC systems. This line gives installers and facility teams a dependable, ready-to-mount flow control solution. Install the actuator with the correct rotation direction for normally open or normally closed operation, as described in Belimo's installation instructions.
