GPD A/C Pressure Transducer Sensor

The GPD A/C Pressure Transducer Sensor line offers replacement A/C refrigerant pressure sensors, also called HVAC pressure transducers or A/C pressure switches. They monitor refrigerant pressure in the air conditioning circuit and send a signal to the vehicle's engine control module (ECM) or HVAC control unit.

Key Features:

• Gives pressure feedback to the engine management system so the A/C system runs as intended
• Helps protect the compressor from damage caused by abnormally high or low refrigerant pressure
• Designed to meet or exceed OE fit, form and function
• Durability tested on every new design
• Amperage draw tested
• Direct-fit replacement design

On modern vehicles the ECM controls the A/C system using this signal. On earlier vehicles the sensor directly shuts off the compressor to avoid compressor failure. GPD (Global Parts Distributors) has supplied automotive A/C and thermal management parts for many years. Each part in this line is an easy replacement for a failed or faulty A/C pressure sensor.
