SPC Performance Zinc Hd Axle Shims

SPC Performance Zinc HD Axle Shims are heavy-duty caster and pinion angle shims. They are used to correct caster and axle alignment on solid axle 2WD and 4WD trucks and SUVs. They are also used on heavy-duty truck and trailer axles. Also called leaf spring shims, pinion angle shims, or caster shims, they help restore proper driveshaft angle and alignment geometry after a suspension lift or other changes.

Key Features:

• Made from heavy-duty zinc alloy. It is harder than aluminum and has better compression strength.
• Tapered design lets you adjust caster or pinion angle for accurate alignment.
• Offered in a range of widths and degree corrections, so you can match your leaf spring or axle setup.
• Suited to street, off-road, performance, and heavy-duty truck alignment work.
• Many part numbers in the line have a double breakaway design. This gives more versatility from fewer shims.
• Made by Specialty Products Company (SPC Performance), a well-known name in alignment components.

The zinc alloy costs only slightly more than aluminum. It gives you much of the hardness of premium manganese bronze shims. When you use Z-blocks or axle spacers, spread the load so the shim isn't crushed.
