ContiTech Multi-V Belt Ribs

ContiTech Multi-V Belt Ribs serpentine belts (also called multi-rib belts, multi-V belts or drive belts) are replacement accessory drive belts. They are engineered to transmit torque from the engine crankshaft to the components it powers. Those components typically include the alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and air conditioning compressor.

Key Features:

• OE-quality construction: ContiTech is an original equipment manufacturer, so these belts are built to OE standards for fit and function.
• Low-profile ribbed design: Handles higher engine revs, runs cooler and helps reduce noise, including in wet conditions.
• Durable materials: Polychloroprene rubber cover and body with polyester fiber tensile members for strength and long service life.
• Oil-resistant and temperature-stable: Designed to hold up to the heat and contamination found in the engine bay.
• No re-tensioning required: Built to maintain proper tension in service.
• Quality-certified manufacturing: Produced in an ISO/TS 16949 quality-certified facility.

When replacing a worn serpentine belt, it is good practice to inspect the tensioner and idler pulleys too. Worn pulleys can cause uneven belt wear and early failure. Choose the child item that matches the rib count and length your application requires.
