GPD A/C Compressor for Volvo

The GPD A/C compressor for Volvo is a replacement air conditioning compressor from Global Parts Distributors (GPD). It is the part that circulates refrigerant through the A/C system, so it is central to cabin cooling. Whether you call it an AC compressor, air conditioning compressor, or A/C pump, it is a direct replacement for a worn, noisy, leaking or failed original unit.

Key Features:

• Designed to meet or exceed OE fit, form and function for straightforward, direct-fit replacement
• New compressor construction to restore dependable A/C performance
• Durability tested on every new design
• Application-specific engineering so each compressor matches the system it replaces
• Backed by GPD, a national brand of aftermarket automotive A/C products

Global Parts Distributors began as an automotive A/C installation and repair shop in Macon, Georgia in 1974. It has since grown into a national distributor of aftermarket A/C and heat exchange products. That experience shows in a product line aimed at helping technicians and DIYers get the job done right the first time.

For best results and long compressor life, replace related components such as the receiver drier or accumulator and the expansion device or orifice tube. Flush the system as part of the repair, and have it evacuated and recharged to specification after installation.
