Dayco Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly

The Dayco Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly (also called a serpentine belt tensioner or automatic belt tensioner) keeps the right amount of tension on your engine's accessory drive belt. Correct tension lets the alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and A/C compressor run reliably. It also helps prevent belt slip, squealing, and premature belt wear.

Key Features:

• Spring-loaded design that applies steady, controlled tension across the belt's operating range
• Built to meet or exceed OE performance requirements for fit, form, and function
• Smooth-running pulley and bearing for quiet operation and long service life
• Durable construction made to handle heat, vibration, and continuous duty
• Helps protect the belt and the driven accessories from damage caused by incorrect tension

Why Replace the Tensioner:

• Worn tensioners can cause belt noise, belt flutter, and uneven belt wear
• Replacing the tensioner along with the belt is a common practice that helps restore drive system performance

Dayco is a long-established name in belt drive systems and supplies both OE manufacturers and the aftermarket. Choose the Dayco tensioner assembly to restore proper belt drive operation with a part from a trusted brand.
