ACDelco Coil Spring Lower Insulator

The ACDelco Coil Spring Lower Insulator (also called a lower coil spring isolator, spring seat, or spring pad) sits between the bottom of the coil spring and the spring seat on the suspension. It helps keep the spring seated and aligned. It also isolates the spring from the mounting surface to cut metal-to-metal contact.

Key Features:

• Cushions the lower end of the coil spring to help reduce noise, vibration, and harshness
• Helps hold the spring in position for consistent ride height and suspension performance
• Resists wear from road debris, moisture, and temperature changes
• Designed as a replacement part to restore original suspension isolation
• Backed by ACDelco, a brand with a long record of supplying parts for GM and other vehicles

Replacing a worn, cracked, or compressed lower insulator can help stop squeaks, clunks, and uneven spring seating. It is often done at the same time as other suspension work, such as replacing springs or struts.
