ContiTech V-Ribbed Serpentine Belt Rib

The ContiTech V-Ribbed Serpentine Belt (also called a multi-rib belt, poly-V belt, or drive belt) transfers power from the engine crankshaft to key accessories. These typically include the alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and air conditioning compressor. ContiTech is a leading original equipment supplier of belt drive technology, and this belt line brings that engineering to the aftermarket.

Key Features:

• Multi-rib design gives a large contact area for efficient power transfer and a quiet, smooth drive
• Flexible, durable rubber construction with reinforced tensile cords helps resist stretch and wear
• Built to resist heat, oil, ozone, and abrasion
• Precision-molded ribs keep the belt tracking true on the pulleys to limit slippage and noise
• Designed to meet or exceed OE performance requirements

Replacing a worn serpentine belt helps prevent squealing, accessory slippage, and unexpected breakdowns. Check the belt, tensioner, and pulleys together at replacement time for the best results.
