American Shifter Company Gecko Shift Knob Insert

The American Shifter Company Gecko shift knob brings a custom gecko design to your manual transmission shifter. It is part of American Shifter's Elite series. Each knob is designed and printed in the USA and aims to give a solid feel on every shift. It suits hot rods, classic restorations, custom builds and daily drivers.

Key Features:

• Gecko graphic design: a high-gloss finish gives the knob a custom look and helps it stand out in the interior.
• Aluminum threaded insert: the insert is installed in the base and will not rust like standard steel inserts.
• Threaded, no-set-screw mounting: the knob screws onto the shift lever, and a matching jam nut is included to lock it in place.
• Works with American Shifter adapters: the insert accepts the company's screw-in adapters, so it can be adapted to a wide range of vehicles.
• Brody knob compatible: the knob can be used with American Shifter's Brody (suicide) knob adapter.
• Customizable: Elite series knobs can be custom etched with a shift pattern, logo or design.
• Limited lifetime warranty: installation instructions are included.

Installation is simple and usually takes a few minutes with basic tools. Remove the old knob, fit the correct adapter if your shifter needs one, and thread on the new knob. For smooth, wobble-free shifting, a little thread locker or silicone spray on the insert threads is suggested before installing.
