American Shifter Company Mushroom Shift Knob Insert

The American Shifter Company Retro Mushroom Shift Knob is a nostalgic, vintage-style manual transmission shift knob. It has a classic mushroom shape and comes with a pre-installed machined metal threaded insert, so it can be used as a custom gear shifter knob or stick shift knob on classic cars, hot rods and custom builds.

Key Features:

• Classic mushroom shape: Old-school retro styling that suits vintage and custom interiors.
• Resin construction: The knob has a solid feel with some weight in the hand.
• Pre-installed threaded insert: A machined metal insert is installed in the knob. It works as-is or accepts American Shifter threaded adapters.
• Jam nut included: Lets you lock the knob in place once it is threaded onto the shifter.
• Adapter and Brody knob compatible: Works with American Shifter's line of shift knob adapters, including Brody knob adapters.
• Made in the USA: American Shifter designs and customizes its knobs with a focus on detail.

Depending on your shifter's thread pitch, an adapter may be needed. American Shifter Company offers a full range of shift knob adapters for this. The Retro Mushroom Series gives your manual shifter a personalized look and a solid feel on every shift.
