ACDelco Professional Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The ACDelco Professional Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (also called a brake pad wear indicator sensor or brake wear sensor) is an electronic component that monitors brake pad condition. When the pad friction material wears to a preset limit, the sensor sends a signal that turns on the dashboard brake wear warning light. This gives you notice that the pads need replacement before wear affects braking performance or damages the rotors.

Key Features:

• Designed to give a dependable dashboard warning when brake pads reach their wear limit
• Part of the ACDelco Professional line, engineered to meet or exceed original equipment performance expectations
• Built to fit the pad assembly and brake hardware it was designed for
• Durable construction and connector designed to withstand heat, moisture, road debris and vibration
• Helps protect rotors and calipers by prompting timely brake service

Wear sensors are generally single-use, so it is good practice to replace the sensor each time you replace the brake pads. This keeps the warning system working and the brakes serviced on schedule. ACDelco is a trusted name in replacement parts, backed by General Motors heritage and used by professional technicians and DIY enthusiasts.
