MAHLE LX Engine Air Filter Element

The MAHLE LX Engine Air Filter Element line gives your engine clean intake air. These OE-quality replacement air filters (also called engine air filters or air cleaner elements) use pleated filter media. The media is designed to trap dust, soot and tire wear particles before they reach the intake system.

Key Features:

• High filtration efficiency: The pleated media captures up to 99.9% of airborne dust, soot and tire wear particles.
• Optimal air/fuel ratio: The media is designed to keep airflow steady, which supports efficient combustion and fuel economy.
• High dust holding capacity: The media can hold a large amount of particles, which supports a long service life, even in harsh environmental conditions.
• Micro-Star pleating: MAHLE's folding system for the filter media is designed to make good use of the available filter area.
• PUR foam sealing: The foam seal separates the dirty side from the clean side at the pleat ends. It resists aging and chemicals and stays stable across temperatures.
• Dry-type element: The element needs no oil treatment, and you can inspect it visually when you replace it.

A clean air filter helps protect valves, cylinder walls, piston rings and bearings from abrasive wear. It also helps prevent fuel injection problems caused by contamination. Replacing the element at the manufacturer's recommended intervals helps maintain engine performance, fuel efficiency and low emissions.
