Bard Electric Heat Strip

Bard electric heat strips are replacement and supplemental electric resistance heating elements for Bard HVAC equipment, including wall-hung package units. They give your system dependable auxiliary or backup heat. Depending on the model, a heat strip is also called an electric heat kit, heater kit or strip heater.

Key Features:

• Electric resistance heating that adds supplemental or backup heat to Bard heat pump and straight-cool package units
• Vent-free operation, so no flue, gas line or combustion air is needed
• Low-maintenance design with few moving parts
• Available in a range of kW capacities, voltages and single-phase or three-phase configurations to match the unit and the building's electrical service
• Built for Bard equipment, so the heat strip matches the intended unit

Electric heat strips suit moderate climates and shoulder-season warmth. They also work as auxiliary heat for heat pump systems. Always match the heat strip model to your unit's nameplate, and have a qualified HVAC technician do the electrical work and installation.
