Spectra Premium Mass Air Flow Sensor with Platinum Resistance Thermometer

The Spectra Premium Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF sensor) with platinum resistance thermometer measures the volume and temperature of air entering the engine. It sends that data to the engine control module so the module can calculate the right fuel delivery for efficient combustion, smooth running and dependable performance.

Key Features:

• Platinum resistance thermometer element for accurate intake air temperature and airflow readings
• Helps the engine control module maintain the correct air-fuel ratio
• Helps support fuel economy, throttle response and emissions performance
• Built to meet or exceed OEM form, fit and function requirements
• Tested for quality and reliability by Spectra Premium, a long-established aftermarket parts supplier

A failing mass air flow sensor can cause rough idle, hesitation, poor fuel economy, stalling or a check engine light. Replacing it with a Spectra Premium MAF sensor, also called an air flow meter or MAF sensor assembly, helps restore proper engine management and drivability.
