American Shifter Company Colonel Shift Knob Insert

The American Shifter Company Colonel shift knob with threaded insert is a custom manual transmission shift knob built to upgrade the look and feel of your interior. American Shifter Company designs and customizes its knobs in the USA, with attention to detail on every piece. Whether you call it a gear shift knob, shifter knob or stick shift knob, this line gives you a custom finishing touch at the end of your shift lever.

Key Features:

• Machined metal threaded insert: American Shifter knobs use a threaded metal insert instead of set screws or plastic parts. This is meant to give solid, wobble-free shifting.
• Screw-on installation: The insert threads directly onto the shift lever. A matching jam nut is used to lock the knob in place.
• Adapter compatible: American Shifter offers a full range of screw-in shift knob adapters. They let the knob be fitted to shift levers with other thread sizes.
• Custom styling: The knob is designed to add personality to your interior, and the artwork and finish options vary by item.
• Designed in the USA: Each knob is built to American Shifter Company's standards for quality and feel.

Installation typically takes just a few minutes with basic tools. Remove the existing knob, fit an adapter if your shift lever needs one, and thread on the new knob securely. A little thread-locking compound or silicone spray on the insert threads can help keep shifting smooth and rattle-free.
