Accelera Iota EVT Summer High Performance Tire XL

The Accelera Iota EVT is a summer high performance passenger tire (also called a high performance radial or EV-ready tire). It is built for electric vehicles, passenger cars, crossovers and SUVs. The XL (extra load) construction is designed to handle the instant torque and extra battery weight of modern EVs. It is also compatible with hybrid and gas-powered vehicles.

Key Features:

• EV-focused design: A reinforced sidewall increases load-bearing capacity to support heavy battery loads.
• Low rolling resistance: The tread pattern and rubber compound reduce energy loss. This helps extend EV battery range and improves fuel efficiency in conventional vehicles.
• Responsive handling: An optimized asymmetric tread design, solid shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib improve grip, steering response and stability at highway speeds.
• Wet traction: Wide circumferential grooves move water out of the footprint to help resist hydroplaning.
• Dry and wet performance: The summer-oriented compound resists heat build-up and supports dependable traction on paved roads.
• Comfort: The tread block arrangement is designed to reduce road noise and vibration for a quieter cabin.

The Iota EVT gives drivers of EVs, hybrids and performance-minded passenger vehicles a balance of efficiency, handling and ride comfort. It is available in a range of sizes under the Accelera brand.
