Dayco Idler/Tensioner Pulley

The Dayco idler/tensioner pulley line, also called a belt idler pulley or tensioner pulley, supports the drive belt system in your engine. Idler pulleys guide the belt along its path. Tensioner pulleys help keep the belt at the correct tension. Both help the belt run smoothly and stay in contact with the accessory components it drives.

Key Features:

• Designed to guide the belt or keep it under tension in serpentine and accessory drive systems, and in timing drive applications where specified
• Built around a sealed, precision bearing to support smooth rotation and long service life
• Durable pulley construction made to resist wear, heat and the stresses of daily driving
• Manufactured by Dayco, a long-established name in belts, tensioners and engine drive components
• Engineered to meet or exceed the form, fit and function of the original part

A worn pulley can cause noise, belt wear, belt slip or misalignment. Replacing it when you replace the belt helps keep the drive system running reliably. Dayco pulleys are often installed together with a matching belt or tensioner as part of a complete drive system service.
