Facet Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor

The Facet Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor, also called a MAP sensor, measures the pressure or vacuum in the intake manifold. It sends that reading to the engine control unit (ECU) as an electrical signal. The ECU uses the signal, along with other inputs, to calculate engine load. It then adjusts fuel delivery and ignition timing to match.

Key Features:

• Gives the engine management system accurate manifold pressure data
• Helps support efficient fuel metering, smooth idle, and consistent drivability
• Helps maintain fuel economy and emissions performance
• Built as an aftermarket replacement for worn or failed original sensors
• Designed to match the form, fit, and function of the original part

Signs of a Failing MAP Sensor:

• Check engine light
• Rough idle or stalling
• Poor fuel economy
• Hesitation or reduced power
• Black smoke from the exhaust

Facet is a long-established European maker of automotive fuel system and ignition components. Replacing a faulty MAP sensor with a quality unit helps restore proper engine management. Select the child item that matches your application.
