Facet Ignition Knock Sensor

The Facet Ignition Knock Sensor, also called a detonation sensor or engine knock sensor, helps the engine management system detect abnormal combustion. Facet is a European manufacturer of automotive aftermarket parts. This product line offers replacement knock sensors for a wide range of applications.

Key Features:

• Detects engine knock (detonation) vibrations and sends a signal to the engine control unit
• Lets the ECU adjust ignition timing to help protect the engine from damage
• Helps maintain smooth performance, fuel efficiency and drivability
• Built for durable, reliable operation in the heat and vibration of the engine bay
• Designed as a replacement for the original sensor

A working knock sensor helps keep combustion under control. Replacing a faulty sensor can help restore proper engine operation and clear related check engine light codes.
