MEYLE Flex Disc Driveshaft Coupling

The MEYLE Flex Disc Driveshaft Coupling (also called a driveshaft flex joint, propeller shaft flex disc, or rag joint) connects sections of the driveshaft. It helps transfer torque smoothly from the transmission to the rear axle. It also absorbs driveline vibration and compensates for small angular misalignment between connected components.

Key Features:

• Flexible disc design that damps vibration and reduces shock loads in the driveline
• Accommodates slight misalignment between driveshaft and mating flanges
• Helps reduce driveline noise and harshness
• Engineered by MEYLE, a German aftermarket brand known for parts built to meet or exceed OE requirements
• Designed for a precise fit and reliable, long-lasting service

A worn or cracked flex disc can cause vibration, clunking on acceleration, or driveline noise. Replacing it restores smooth power transfer and protects related driveline components. Inspect the mounting hardware and the center support bearing when you replace the coupling.
