Platinum Plus Upper Bumper Impact Absorber EPP Foam

The Platinum Plus Upper Bumper Impact Absorber (also called a bumper absorber, bumper foam, bumper shock or bumper impact bar) is a replacement energy-absorbing insert. It sits between the bumper cover and the reinforcement bar, and it helps the bumper system cushion low-speed impacts.

Key Features:

• EPP foam construction: Expanded polypropylene is a lightweight, resilient foam that absorbs impact energy and can recover its shape after light impacts.
• Upper position design: Each part is made for the upper bumper location, so it supports the bumper cover and helps keep its contour.
• Platinum Plus quality level: The Platinum Plus line is positioned as a high-quality replacement. It targets fit and finish comparable to what automakers require.
• Direct-fit replacement: It is made to replace a damaged or missing original foam absorber, so you don't need to modify it.

A cracked, crushed or missing absorber can leave the bumper cover poorly supported and reduce the bumper's ability to cushion an impact. Replacing it during collision repair or bumper service restores the bumper assembly. Choose the correct part number from the available variants for your application.
