ContiTech Serpentine Belt Rib Multi V-Belt

The ContiTech Serpentine Belt, also called a multi-rib belt, poly-V belt, drive belt or accessory drive belt, is a ribbed belt that transfers engine power to accessories such as the alternator, power steering pump, water pump and air conditioning compressor. ContiTech supplies original equipment belts to automakers, and it makes its aftermarket belts to the same standard.

Key Features:

• Multi-rib (multi V-belt) design that grips the pulleys evenly and delivers smooth, quiet power transmission
• Synthetic rubber construction made to resist heat, oil, ozone and general wear
• Reinforced tensile cords that keep the belt stable and limit stretch over its service life
• Precision-molded ribs that track accurately on pulleys, which helps reduce noise and slippage
• Made to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for fit and performance

A fresh serpentine belt helps the charging system, cooling system, steering assist and climate control keep working reliably. Replace the belt as part of regular maintenance. Check the tensioner and pulleys during installation, since worn components can shorten the life of a new belt.
