Motorcraft Disc Brake Caliper Unloaded

The Motorcraft unloaded disc brake caliper, also called a bare brake caliper or caliper housing, is a replacement part for the disc brake system. Motorcraft is Ford Motor Company's genuine service parts brand. The caliper clamps the brake pads against the rotor to slow and stop the vehicle.

Key Features:

• Unloaded design: supplied as the caliper assembly without brake pads or mounting hardware, so you can reuse or separately select your own pads and hardware
• Built to Ford service parts standards for fit, form and function
• Designed to apply clamping force evenly for consistent, controlled braking
• Piston and seal design intended to retract smoothly and resist leaks
• Suited to both repair and restoration of the front or rear brake system, depending on the part number

Replace calipers in axle pairs and fit new brake pads, along with fresh brake fluid, so braking stays balanced. Choose the child part number that matches your application to get the correct caliper.
