Delphi Oxygen Sensor Heated Sensor

The Delphi heated oxygen sensor (also called an O2 sensor or lambda sensor) monitors the oxygen content in the exhaust stream. It sends that data to the engine control module. The ECM uses the signal to fine-tune the air-fuel mixture for efficient combustion, lower emissions and good fuel economy.

Key Features:

• Built-in heating element brings the sensor up to operating temperature quickly, so the engine can enter closed-loop operation sooner after a cold start
• Accurate exhaust gas readings help maintain proper air-fuel ratios
• Helps reduce harmful tailpipe emissions and supports emissions system performance
• Designed to meet original equipment form, fit and function requirements
• Backed by Delphi's experience as a global supplier of engine management and emissions control components

A worn or failing oxygen sensor can cause poor fuel economy, rough running, increased emissions and a check engine light. Replacing it restores accurate feedback to the engine management system. Delphi offers this product line in multiple configurations, so choose the specific part number that matches your application.
