Aisan AI Evaporative Emission Carbon Canister

The Aisan Evaporative Emission Carbon Canister, also called an EVAP canister, vapor canister, or charcoal canister, is a replacement part for the vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. It captures and stores fuel vapors from the fuel system so they are not released into the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Activated carbon adsorbs hydrocarbon fuel vapors from the fuel tank
• Releases stored vapors to the engine intake through the purge system, where they are burned during combustion
• Helps the vehicle meet emissions requirements and can help clear EVAP-related check engine light codes when a faulty canister is the cause
• Aisan is a supplier of fuel system and emission control components, and this canister is a direct-replacement part
