Right Stuff Detailing Hydro Boost Brake Conversion Kit for Chevy

The Right Stuff Detailing Hydro Boost Brake Conversion Kit line is a disc brake conversion system for classic Chevrolet trucks and cars. It replaces vacuum-assisted power brakes with a hydraulic power brake booster, also called hydro-boost or hydraulic brake assist. A hydro-boost system runs on power steering pump pressure instead of engine vacuum. That makes it a good fit for builds with a large camshaft, a modified engine or a turbocharger, where vacuum is low.

Key Features:

• Hydraulic power assist: Power steering pressure applies force to the master cylinder, which improves braking performance and pedal feel.
• Accumulator backup: The hydro-boost unit has a high-pressure accumulator. It stores enough pressure for several power-assisted stops if the power steering belt breaks or a hose ruptures.
• Disc brake conversion: Kits in this line convert the vehicle from drum brakes to disc brakes. Components include rotors, calipers and related hardware.
• Bolt-on design: Right Stuff Detailing designs its kits to bolt on and supply the hardware needed to complete the conversion.
• Street Series engineering: The line comes from a brand known for brake conversion kits for classic and muscle cars.

Choose the kit that matches your application from the available options in this product line. A hydro-boost conversion gives classic Chevrolet owners stronger, more consistent stopping power and a more modern brake system.
