Armstrong Desert Dog MT Mud Terrain Tire

The Armstrong Desert Dog MT is a mud-terrain (M/T) light truck and SUV tire built for demanding off-road use. It has an aggressive rhino-horn-inspired tread pattern. The design gives strong grip, traction and pulling power in deep mud, loose dirt and rocky trails. The tire carries the M+S rating and is an all-season 4x4 tire.

Key Features:

• Tuff Tusk tread blocks: Tread blocks inspired by Tuffy the Rhino give maximum grip and pulling power on muddy terrain and other challenging surfaces.
• High void ratio and staggered blocks: The open pattern helps the tire clear mud and stay traction-ready on soft, loose and uneven ground.
• Zigzag stone ejectors: Ejectors between the tread blocks help keep stones from lodging in the grooves. This helps protect the casing and keeps the footprint clean.
• Wide, angled shoulder scallops: The scallops add off-road bite and help drain water to resist hydroplaning.
• Rugged reinforced sidewalls: The sidewalls act as a shield against shocks, cuts and impacts from rocks and other trail obstacles.
• Black sidewall, non-directional design: The look is aggressive and rugged, with a tread pattern built for mounting flexibility.

The Desert Dog MT suits drivers of Jeeps, pickups and SUVs who want a capable, durable mud-terrain tire for trail, work and weekend off-road use. Like most mud-terrain tires, it is designed mainly for off-road performance. Load range options and construction vary by size, so refer to each individual listing for exact specifications.
