BD Diesel Steering Box Stabilizer Dodge Ram

The BD Diesel Steering Box Stabilizer (SBS), also called a steering box brace or steering stabilizer bracket, is built to reduce steering wander and wobble in late-model Dodge Ram pickups. Much of that looseness comes from frame flex and excessive shaft play at the steering box. The stabilizer braces the frame and supports the steering box to help fix it.

Key Features:

• Helps reduce steering wander and wobble caused by excessive play at the steering box
• Greatly reduces frame flex at the steering box mounting point for a more positive, connected steering feel
• Silver vein powder coat finish for corrosion resistance
• Greasable, high-quality bearing for reliable operation
• High-strength mounting hardware and instructions included
• Bolt-in design that installs without modification
• Made in Canada and backed by a 1-year manufacturer warranty

The stabilizer is especially helpful on trucks that have been lifted or fitted with larger tires and wheels. These changes often make loose steering more noticeable. BD Diesel designs performance products for diesel and gas trucks. Choose the correct part number for your application from the options listed on this page.
