Siemens Building Technology Immersion Temperature Sensor Ohm

The Siemens Building Technology immersion temperature sensor line, also called a pipe or tank temperature sensor, is built for HVAC and building automation systems. These passive sensors measure the temperature of water or other fluids in pipes and tanks. They work through a sensing element whose electrical resistance (ohms) changes with temperature. A compatible controller reads that resistance and uses it for control.

Key Features:

• Passive resistance-type (ohm) sensing element for use with compatible building automation controllers
• Measures the temperature of the medium directly by immersion in pipes and tanks
• Used for flow temperature control or limiting, return temperature limiting, and domestic hot water temperature control
• Wide measuring range suited to heating and chilled-water applications
• Designed for ventilation, air conditioning, and heating plants
• Screw terminal electrical connection for straightforward wiring

Siemens Building Technologies is a well-known name in HVAC controls. This sensor line gives accurate, repeatable temperature feedback for reliable system control and efficient building comfort. Select the sensing element type and probe length that match your controller and application.
