Platinum Pro Charge Air Cooler Intercooler for Turbo Engines

The Platinum Pro charge air cooler, also called a turbocharger intercooler or CAC, is a direct-replacement heat exchanger for turbocharged gas and diesel engines. It cools the compressed air leaving the turbocharger before that air enters the engine. Cooler intake air is denser, which supports efficient combustion and helps the engine make power reliably.

Key Features:

• Lowers intake air temperature to improve combustion efficiency and help maintain power output
• Helps reduce the risk of detonation and heat soak under demanding conditions
• Built from durable materials, such as aluminum, for reliable heat dissipation
• Designed as a direct-fit replacement with the same form, fit and function as the original part
• Aims for installation without modifications

A failed or leaking intercooler, for example one damaged by oil contamination, can cause lost power, poor efficiency and boost issues. Replacing it with a Platinum Pro charge air cooler helps restore proper charge air temperatures and turbo system performance.
