Trane Reverse Flow Switch F Open F Close Boiler Safety Controls & Aquastats

The Trane Reverse Flow Switch (also called a reverse airflow switch or reverse flow safety switch) is a temperature-actuated safety control for Trane and American Standard heating equipment. It monitors for abnormal reverse airflow conditions and helps protect the system and the space it serves.

Key Features:

• Temperature-actuated safety control: The switch opens and closes at set temperature points, so it can respond when airflow is not moving in the intended direction.
• Equipment protection: It helps shut down burner operation if the blower fails to run or reverse airflow is detected. This reduces the risk of overheating and damage to components.
• Line-voltage pilot duty rating: The switch is built for the control circuits found in Trane HVAC equipment.
• OEM-style replacement: It restores original factory safety function when a worn or failed switch needs replacing.
• Multiple configurations: The product line includes different temperature settings and terminal styles to suit different Trane models.

Trane is a well-known name in heating and cooling, and this switch carries that brand's engineering for reliable, repeatable safety performance. Choose the configuration that matches your original part's specifications.
