Sachs Hatch Lift Support Gas Spring Strut

Sachs hatch lift supports are gas spring struts, also called trunk lift supports, tailgate struts, liftgate struts or gas springs. They hold a hatch, trunk lid, tailgate or liftgate open and help it open and close smoothly. They are a direct-replacement part for worn struts that no longer hold the hatch up.

Key Features:

• Pressurized gas spring design that supports the weight of the hatch or lid
• Controlled, damped motion that helps reduce slamming and sudden drops
• Replaces worn or weak struts that let the hatch sag or drift closed
• End fittings built for the application they replace
• Made by Sachs, a long-time supplier of original-equipment automotive components

Replacing worn lift supports restores easy, hands-free access to the cargo area. Choose the individual part number that matches your application.
