GPD ABS Wheel Speed Sensor

The GPD ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (also called an ABS speed sensor or wheel speed sensor) is a replacement part for the anti-lock braking system. GPD is the house brand of Global Parts Distributors. The sensor monitors how fast a wheel is rotating and sends that signal to the ABS control module.

Key Features:

• Replacement ABS wheel speed sensor built to meet or exceed OEM fit, form, and function
• Sends wheel rotation data to the ABS module, which helps prevent wheel lock-up during hard or slippery-surface braking
• Its signal is also used by related systems such as traction control and stability control, on vehicles equipped with them
• Available in multiple configurations, with lead lengths, connector styles, and head designs matched to the application

A failing wheel speed sensor can trigger the ABS warning light and disable ABS and traction control. Replacing it with a quality sensor restores accurate wheel speed readings and normal anti-lock braking operation. Select the specific part number that matches your application.
