GPD HVAC Heater Core Aluminum Construction

The GPD HVAC heater core (also called a heater matrix) is a replacement part that moves heat from the engine's coolant into the cabin. Hot coolant passes through the core. The blower then pushes air across it to warm the passenger compartment and to help with defrosting and defogging.

Key Features:

• Aluminum core construction helps transfer heat efficiently.
• Designed to meet or exceed OE fit, form and function.
• Direct-fit replacement design with no adjustable pipe positioning.
• Each part is built for a specific application, so inlet and outlet connections and core layout match the original unit.
• Durability tested on every new design.

A new heater core can fix common problems such as weak or no cabin heat, coolant leaks into the cabin, a sweet coolant smell, and windows that fog up. Replacing it with a quality part restores heating and defrost performance. Choose the correct variant for your application using the part numbers listed on this page.
