GPD A/C Air Conditioning Compressor

The GPD A/C compressor (air conditioning compressor) is a replacement part for automotive air conditioning systems. The compressor is the core of the A/C system. It circulates and pressurizes refrigerant so the system can remove heat and moisture from the cabin. GPD (Global Parts Distributors, LLC) is a national brand of aftermarket A/C and heat exchange products.

Key Features:

• Dedicated A/C specialist: GPD began as an A/C installation and repair shop in Macon, Georgia, in 1974. It now supplies aftermarket A/C parts for cars, trucks, heavy-duty, off-road and agricultural applications.
• Broad coverage: The line includes belt-driven compressors in a range of designs for late-model cars and trucks as well as heavy-duty equipment.
• Application-specific replacement: Each compressor is made to restore cooling performance as a direct-fit replacement for the original unit.
• Part of a complete A/C program: GPD also offers condensers, accumulators and drdriers, expansion valves, orifice tubes, rapid seal kits, hoses and compressor clutches. These cover the related parts often replaced along with a compressor.

Replacing a failed or worn compressor restores cooling and comfort. For best results and long compressor life, service the related A/C components at the same time. This includes the accumulator or drier, the expansion device, and flushing the system as needed.
