ACDelco Electronic Traction Control Brake Pressure Modulator Valve

The ACDelco Electronic Traction Control Brake Pressure Modulator Valve is a replacement ABS modulator, also called an ABS hydraulic control unit, brake pressure modulator or EBCM valve assembly. It controls hydraulic pressure to the brakes during anti-lock braking and traction control events.

Key Features:

• Regulates brake fluid pressure to individual wheel circuits to help prevent wheel lockup under hard braking
• Supports electronic traction control by modulating brake pressure to help limit wheel spin
• Designed as a replacement for the original component in the vehicle's anti-lock brake system
• Backed by the ACDelco name, a long-standing supplier of GM original equipment and aftermarket parts

Replacing a failed modulator can help restore proper ABS and traction control operation. Typical signs of a failing unit include an illuminated ABS or traction control warning light, or loss of anti-lock function. Professional installation and brake system bleeding are recommended after replacement.
