ACDelco A/C Evaporator Temperature Sensor

The ACDelco A/C Evaporator Temperature Sensor (also called an A/C evaporator temp sensor or evaporator thermistor) monitors the temperature of the evaporator core in a vehicle's air conditioning system. It sends this reading to the climate control module or engine control module. The module uses it to manage compressor operation, help prevent evaporator icing, and keep cabin cooling consistent.

Key Features:

• Monitors evaporator core temperature and sends the signal to the vehicle's control module
• Helps protect the A/C system by supporting proper compressor cycling and reducing the risk of evaporator freeze-up
• Supports steady cooling performance and passenger comfort
• Engineered by ACDelco, the original equipment parts brand of General Motors, to meet strict quality and performance standards
• Designed for reliable operation under the heat, vibration, and moisture found in HVAC systems

A faulty evaporator temperature sensor can cause poor cooling, compressor short-cycling, or an A/C system that will not engage. Replacing it with a quality ACDelco sensor helps restore proper climate control operation. Several variants are available in this product line. Select the correct part number for your application.
