ACDelco Automatic Transmission Clutch Spring

The ACDelco Automatic Transmission Clutch Spring is an internal transmission component. It is used in the clutch pack assembly of a GM automatic transmission. The spring helps return the clutch apply piston to its released position when hydraulic pressure drops. This lets the clutch disengage fully and the transmission shift smoothly. It is also sold as a transmission clutch piston return spring or clutch release spring.
