Gates Modular Coolant Hose with Quick Connect Fittings

Gates Premium Modular Coolant Hose is an OE-style replacement coolant hose assembly. It is also called a modular radiator hose or heater hose assembly. Each hose is built as a complete assembly with the integrated components the original hose used, such as hose branches, quick-connectors, tees, sensors and restrictors. That makes installation simpler and helps the connections seal leak-free.

Key Features:

• OE-exact components: Quick connects, branch connectors and tees match the original design, so the quick connectors don't have to be reused or replaced separately.
• Durable construction: EPDM tube, synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, and a heat-, ozone- and coolant-resistant EPDM cover.
• Vacuum collapse resistance: Engineered materials help the hose hold its shape under vacuum.
• Electrochemical degradation resistance: Compounds are formulated to resist electrochemical degradation, a leading cause of coolant hose failure.
• Industry standards: Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 for hoses under 25 mm (1 in.) ID, and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 25 mm (1 in.) ID and larger.

Gates is a leader in modular coolant hose assemblies. These hoses are made to fit specific applications and to match the form, fit and function of the original. For best results, Gates recommends replacing the clamps whenever a new coolant hose is installed. These hoses are for coolant service only, not for fuel or oil transfer.
