• Titanium construction: Titanium is lighter than steel. The lower valve mass can help valvetrain control at high engine speeds when the valve is matched with the correct springs, retainers, keepers, seats, guides and cam profile.
• CNC-machined and precision-ground: Every valve is completely CNC machined and precision ground for consistent quality.
• Inspected before shipment: Del West controls all critical dimensions of its valves, with 100% visual and dimensional inspection before shipment.
• Wear protection: Del West applies in-house thermally sprayed coatings to the stem to protect against wear. The tip is protected by either a steel tip insert or a thermally sprayed coating.
• Advanced coatings: Del West can apply thin-film coatings such as PVD and CVD. The exact coating and tip treatment vary by part.
• Full traceability: Del West maintains traceability on all components from receipt of material to shipment of the product.
