AXP Racing Adventure Skid Plate BMW

The AXP Racing Adventure Skid Plate for BMW adventure motorcycles is an engine guard and bash plate. It protects the engine cases, engine block and lower engine components on rough trails and rocky terrain. It is machined from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that is 8mm thick. HDPE is a technical plastic known for its resistance to impact, wear and abrasion.

Key Features:

• 8mm HDPE construction: The material absorbs heavy impacts and resists deformation.
• Lightweight: HDPE is about 30-40% lighter than comparable aluminum skid plates.
• Quieter and smoother: The plate generates less vibration and less noise from rocks and debris than metal plates.
• Engine and case protection: It shields the engine block, casings and lower engine components, and it keeps the bike's lines clean.
• Bolt-on mounting: The plate attaches directly to the bike. Mounting hardware is included.

AXP Racing has made skid plates and protection parts for off-road riders since 1999. It brought the experience it gained in motocross, enduro and hard enduro to larger adventure bikes. The Adventure series is for riders who want durable, low-maintenance underbody protection for touring, trail and off-road use.
