Field Controls Draft Regulator for Oil Wood Coal

The Field Controls RC Draft Regulator (also called a barometric damper or barometric draft control) keeps flue draft steady on oil-, wood- and coal-fired heating equipment. When draft gets too strong, the damper opens and lets room air into the flue, which lowers the pressure. When draft drops, it closes to keep the system stable. This helps prevent excess draft and the wasted fuel and poor combustion that come with it.

Key Features:

• Single-acting design made for oil and solid-fuel appliances
• Calibrated for easy adjustment to the furnace or boiler manufacturer's specifications
• Fine draft settings in the range of .02" to .08" W.C.
• Adjustable balancing weights let the installer set the control for the specific system
• Galvanized steel construction with a counterbalanced, weighted damper door
• Residential and commercial use, with a design that is standard equipment on many leading brands of oil- and coal-fired heating equipment

Field Controls invented the barometric draft control and has made draft controls and vent dampers since 1927. The control is very sensitive, so use instrumentation to set it during installation. Choose the child option that matches your flue pipe.
