KMC Controls Differential Pressure Flow Sensor HVAC Sensors & Probes

The KMC Controls SSS-1000 series differential pressure flow sensor, also called a VAV airflow sensor or air flow pickup, measures airflow in HVAC duct systems. It is designed to sense differential pressure at the inlet of VAV (variable air volume) terminal units and fan terminal units. It can also be used at other points in main or branch duct systems.

Key Features:

• Measures the differential pressure between the high (H) and low (L) ports, which can be used to determine airflow
• Can measure static pressure using just one port rotated 90°
• Available with multiple sensing points and several sensing lengths to suit a range of duct and box diameters
• Works with KMC VAV controllers, including the CSC, CSP, KMD and BAC series, for individual zone control
• Connects to the controller with polyethylene tubing, with connection and tube sizes depending on the model
• Made for building automation and DDC control applications in commercial HVAC systems

This sensor line gives VAV boxes and zone control systems a dependable way to get airflow readings. Pick the model with the sensing length and tubing connection that match your terminal unit and controller.
