ACT Clutch Pilot Bearing

The ACT Clutch Pilot Bearing (also called a clutch pilot bushing or input shaft pilot bearing) supports the transmission input shaft at the rear of the crankshaft. It keeps the shaft aligned and centered during engagement, and it lets the shaft turn smoothly in the crankshaft bore.

Key Features:

• Supports the transmission input shaft and holds it aligned with the crankshaft
• Helps reduce vibration, noise, and uneven wear on the clutch disc and input shaft
• Made by ACT (Advanced Clutch Technology), a company known for performance and street clutch components
• Designed to be installed with a clutch replacement for smooth, consistent engagement
• Available in multiple configurations in this product line. Select the correct item for your application.

Replacing the pilot bearing whenever you replace the clutch is good practice. A worn pilot bearing can cause clutch chatter, hard shifting, and premature wear on the input shaft. Pairing it with an ACT clutch kit helps keep the whole drivetrain connection reliable.
