Emerson Flow Control (Alco) Refrigerant Solenoid Valve ODF Normally Closed

The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) normally closed refrigerant solenoid valve is a 2-way shut-off valve for refrigeration, air conditioning and HVACR systems. It is also called a refrigerant magnet valve or liquid line solenoid valve. It uses ODF (sweat or solder) connections, so it brazes directly into copper refrigerant lines.

Key Features:

• Normally closed operation: The valve stays closed when the coil is de-energized. It opens only when power is applied, which gives positive shut-off during power loss or when the system cycles off.
• 2-way refrigerant shut-off: Suited to liquid, suction and discharge or hot gas line service, depending on the series.
• ODF extended ends: The extended connections allow brazing without disassembling the valve body, which simplifies installation.
• Coil interchangeability: One coil fits all valve sizes within a series, which simplifies stocking and replacement.
• Quality sealing components: The design uses PTFE sealing elements for reliable sealing and long service life.
• Trusted brand: Alco Controls is an Emerson brand with a long history in refrigerant flow and control components.

These valves are used in commercial refrigeration, air conditioning and process cooling systems. Each part number in this product line is available in its own connection size and configuration. Select the option that matches your piping and capacity requirements.
