Facet Throttle Position Sensor TPS

The Facet Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), also called a throttle position switch or throttle pedal sensor, monitors the angle of the throttle plate and sends that information to the engine control unit (ECU). The ECU uses the signal to manage fuel delivery, ignition timing, idle control and transmission shift points, so the engine runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Features:

• Reports throttle plate position to the engine management system for accurate fuel and ignition control
• Replacement-style design built to meet the fit, form and function of the original part
• Made by Facet, a long-established European supplier of automotive aftermarket parts
• Helps restore smooth acceleration, steady idle and consistent drivability

Signs of a Failing Throttle Position Sensor:

• Hesitation or surging during acceleration
• Rough or unstable idle
• Poor fuel economy
• Harsh or erratic automatic transmission shifting
• Check engine light with throttle-related trouble codes

Replacing a worn or faulty throttle position sensor helps restore accurate throttle signals and engine performance. Select the correct part number from the options listed for this product line.
