Belimo Two-Way Control Valve Cv Chrome Plated Trim

Belimo two-way characterized control valves (CCV) with chrome plated brass trim give precise modulating water-side control in HVAC and hydronic systems. They are also called 2-way control valves or characterized ball valves. They regulate chilled or hot water flow to heating and cooling coils, and they are sold as valve bodies only. Actuators are purchased separately.

Key Features:

• Characterizing disc: A disc inside the valve gives an equal percentage flow characteristic, similar to a globe valve of the same nominal size.
• Stable part-load control: Flow increases gradually as the valve opens. This improves control stability, helps prevent control loop hunting, and supports efficient energy use.
• Chrome plated brass trim: The ball and stem are chrome plated brass.
• Two-way pattern: Designed for variable-flow hydronic applications.
• Threaded connections: Internal (female NPT) thread end fittings.
• Fluid compatibility: Suitable for chilled or hot water, including water with glycol up to 60%.
• High pressure rating: 600 psi body pressure rating.

Typical Applications: Air handling units, fan coil units, unit ventilators, VAV box reheat coils, and bypass loops.

Belimo is a well-known maker of actuators and valves for HVAC systems. Each valve in this line is sized by its Cv rating so you can match flow capacity to the application.
