Belimo NPT Brass Ball Valve with Actuator

The Belimo NPT brass ball valve with actuator line covers 2-way and 3-way characterized control valves for HVAC hot and chilled water systems. These valves are also called motorized ball valves or electric actuated ball valves. Each valve comes assembled with a direct-coupled Belimo rotary actuator, so it is ready to install and connect to a building automation system.

Key Features:

• Brass construction: Forged, nickel-plated brass body with threaded NPT end connections for standard pipe installation.
• Characterized control: A characterizing disc corrects the flow curve of an ordinary ball valve. This gives equal-percentage control on 2-way valves, with better part-load control and stable operation.
• Tight shut-off: The ball design seals tightly (bubble-tight on 2-way valves). This helps limit energy losses and operating costs.
• Actuator options: Spring return and non-spring return actuators are available. Control types include on/off, floating point and modulating (proportional).
• Durable design: The stem uses O-ring seals for long service life. Ball and stem are stainless steel or chrome-plated brass, depending on the model.
• Simple mounting: A direct-coupled actuator mounts with a central screw and needs no special tools.

These valves suit air handling unit heating and cooling coils, fan coil units, unit ventilators, VAV reheat coils and bypass loops. They are intended for chilled or hot water service, including glycol mixtures. Belimo is a long-established maker of HVAC actuators and valves.
