Belimo NPT Brass Characterized Control Valve with Actuator

The Belimo NPT brass characterized control valve with actuator line gives precise modulating control of chilled or hot water in HVAC systems. Each valve is a threaded NPT ball-type control valve, also called a CCV or characterized control valve. It is supplied with a matching Belimo rotary actuator for air handling unit coils, fan coil units, unit ventilators, VAV reheat coils and bypass loops.

Key Features:

• Characterized flow control: The characterizing disk gives an equal percentage flow characteristic. This improves part-load control and low-flow stability, and it reduces on-off hunting.
• Brass construction: The valve body is forged brass. Trim is chrome-plated brass or stainless steel, depending on the model.
• Tight shutoff: 2-way models are designed for tight close-off with 0% leakage.
• NPT threaded connections: Standard pipe threads make installation into hydronic piping straightforward.
• Matched actuator: Belimo rotary actuators mount directly to the valve. They are available in non-spring-return and spring-return versions, with a range of control signals and voltages.
• Hydronic compatibility: Suitable for chilled water and hot water systems, including glycol mixtures.

Belimo is a well-known manufacturer of actuators, valves and sensors for HVAC. This product line suits both new construction and replacement of existing control valves and actuators.
