Clevite AL-Series Connecting Rod Bearing

Clevite AL-Series connecting rod bearings (also called rod bearings or engine con rod bearings) are aluminum bi-metal replacement bearings. They are built for engines that left the factory with aluminum bearings. They are designed to deliver OE-style performance with the Clevite engineering behind them.

Key Features:

• Lead-free aluminum-silicon bi-metal construction that is designed to condition journal surfaces well
• Higher silicon content than the leading competitor's bi-metal material, for greater wear resistance
• Soft, conformable aluminum suits applications where it is preferred over stiffer steel-backed bearings
• Eccentricities matched to the application for solid, reliable performance
• Direct-replacement design for rebuilds and engine repair

More manufacturers now use aluminum bearings in their OE engines. AL-Series bearings continue the quality and reputation Clevite has built over many years. They are a dependable choice for engine rebuilds and repairs.
